The primary aim of this site is to summarize some grammar rules and vocabulary items in boxes. It does not attempt to
give long explanations of these points. We just want to provide you with some charts to help you remember those topics that
you already know, but perhaps you do not have enough practice or do not feel confident enough to use them, so If you
have a look at them, we are sure, you'll do fine.
This site also provides you with some useful links to other web sites where you'll be able to find further information,
tips, exercises and examples, on the main skills you should know to learn English. In that way, you can go deeper into the
matter and get plenty of practice into the language.
As we do not want you to feel saturated with information, periodically, we'll provide you with new issues on the web.
Every two months you'll find new topics to review and some new exercises related to the topics we are dealing with. We hope
you enjoy surfing this site!

Joke of the month:
“A cultured Mexican woman arrived in Elgin , Illinois , with her American
husband. One day she was stopped for a minor traffic violation by a policeman accustomed to dealing with poorly educated Mexican
braceros."
“Lady”, he snorted, “in this country we drive cars, not burros.”
This offended her dignity and she replied acidly, “No, in this country,
they do not drive burros, the burros drive the cars.”
